Jr Software Engineer
Work Experience and Qualification Details
Skills:
Core Java with Java network programming and Web development
Exp Level:
1.5 to 2 yrs
Education:
Engineering degree holder
Location:
Pune
Essential:
- Hands on in Core/advanced Java development on Unix/Linux
- Experience in implementing core Java design patterns
- Experience with AJAX framework such as echo2/ GWT will be a plus
- Hands on experience in Web development involving JSP/Servlet,
EJB/JMS/WebServices on Unix/linux platforms
- Experience architecting highly scalable, available and performing applications
- Experience with at least one of the following application servers - Tomcat,
Jboss, WebLogic, WebSphere
- Exposure to Hibernate will be a plus
- Sound fundamental knowledge of Databases - Postgres, Oracle and PL-SQL
Desirable:
- Good knowledge of SDLC & Agile development
- Domain knowledge in Networking/ Infrastructure/ security domain knowledge
- Should be a quick learner
Additional information:
- Should be able to work in the capacity of individual contributor as well as in
teams
- Must have good written/verbal communication skills and experience working
as part of a mid to large development team. Networking, Infrastructure or
Security experience a plus
