Education/Qualification
BE IT or Computer Science/B Tech. /Equivalent
Certifications (Desired):
EMC proven professional / certified in EMC Information Storage and Management (EMCPA)/ HPUX Certified System Administration/ IBM Certified Specialist
Technical expertise
The resource should be skilled in at least two or more areas mentioned below
- EMC
- HP
- IBM
- IBM Storage DS-4000/DS-5000
- IBM San Volume Controller (software)
Roles and Responsibility
- Installation & Configuration of Storage device remotely.
- Provide remote support to the Customers.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance of Storage device and applications
- Backup and Restore Operations.
- Coordinating with manufacturer with respect to escalated issue and performing troubleshooting with TAC Engineers.
Additional requirement
- Need to work 24/7 operations
- May require to travel to overseas/onsite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Interpersonal skills
