Trainee Executives – Solaris
Years of Experience:
Fresher
Educational qualification:
BE/MCA or University degree
Certification (Mandatory):
SCSA or RHCE or IBX-AIX certified Sys-Admin or HP-UX certified Sys-Admin.
Technical skills:
- Knowledge on SUN-Solaris, Linux (Redhat or Suse).
- Exposure on UNIX Boot-process.
- Knowledge on different run-levels on UNIX systems.
- Knowledge on LVM/SVM on Linux/Solaris.
- Knowledge on adding patches/packages on to the servers.
(Linux or Solaris)
- Basic trouble shooting skills on system related issues.
(Such as bad-disk, nfs-issues Mount-issues).
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitoring of UNIX servers continuously and resolving the system related issues if any occurred as 24/7 support.
- Managing User / Group Administration
- Creating file systems, disk partitioning and troubleshooting
- Monitor system availability, load, and system capacity
- Configuring & trouble shooting NFS, NIS and DNS services
Additional Requirement
- Need to work 24/7 operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with minimal levels of supervision or oversight.
