Unified Compute Infrastructure

What it is

Cisco Unified Computing System integrates computing, networking, and storage access into a programmable, self-aware system that automates infrastructure delivery and adapts to workload demands. Our UCS services encompass the full lifecycle—from design and deployment of blade and rack servers to fabric interconnect configuration, unified management setup, and integration with your network and storage infrastructure.

Who it's for

  • Virtualization Environments: Organizations running VMware, Hyper-V, or Red Hat OCP requiring optimized compute platforms
  • Database-Intensive Workloads: Enterprises running SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA, or other performance-critical databases
  • Private Cloud Deployments: Companies building on-premises cloud infrastructure with OpenStack, Kubernetes, or proprietary platforms
  • AI/ML Initiatives: Organizations deploying GPU-accelerated compute for artificial intelligence and machine learning workloads
  • Consolidation Projects: Businesses replacing aging rack servers with modern, manageable unified compute platforms

Problems it solves

  • Complex Server Deployment: Eliminates lengthy, manual server provisioning processes with policy-based automation
  • Configuration Inconsistency: Ensures uniform server configurations through service profiles and templates
  • Management Complexity: Replaces disparate management tools with unified, centralized control
  • Limited Flexibility: Provides software-defined I/O and network connectivity adapting to changing requirements
  • Lengthy Provisioning Times: Reduces server deployment from hours/days to minutes through stateless computing
  • Scalability Constraints: Enables rapid expansion without proportional management overhead increases
  • Integration Challenges: Simplifies connectivity between compute, network, and storage layers

Step 1 - Discovery & Assessment

We analyze your workload requirements, capacity needs, high-availability requirements, and existing infrastructure. Assessment covers application profiles, performance requirements, virtualization strategy, network and storage integration points, and growth projections.

Step 2 - Proposal & Design

We create comprehensive UCS architecture designs including chassis and blade/rack server specifications, fabric interconnect topology and configuration, service profile and template strategy, vNIC/vHBA design and uplink connectivity, storage integration architecture, and management platform selection (UCS Manager or Intersight).

Step 3 - Implementation & Delivery

Our certified UCS engineers deploy your compute infrastructure including hardware installation and cabling, fabric interconnect configuration and firmware management, service profile creation and policies, network and storage integration, hypervisor deployment and optimization, and thorough validation testing.

Step 4 - Optimization & Ongoing Support

Post-deployment, we provide performance monitoring and tuning, firmware lifecycle management, capacity planning and expansion guidance, operational training, and optional managed services for day-to-day administration and proactive maintenance.
